Advantages & Applications:

The Java type of citronella oil is one of the most widely used in perfumes, soaps, skin lotions and deodorants. It is a popular ingredient in wax candles, as an insect repellant.
Citronella oil is used to parasites expel worms or other from the intestines.


It is also used to control muscle spasms, increase appetite, and increase urine production (as a diuretic) to relieve fluid retention.


Some people apply citronella oil directly to the skin to keep mosquitoes and other insects away.
In manufacturing, citronella oil is used as a fragrance in cosmetics and soaps.


This oil kills fungus and inhibits fungal growth. This is very useful in countering fungal infections in the ear, nose and throat region and other parts too and helps cure fungal dysentery.
